“I can’t believe I’ve never stayed here before after coming to Bloomington regularly for 30 years! I picked it because I thought it would be great for a dog, (and it is!), but we got so much more comfort than expected! This is a gem of a find. Just hope it’s hidden enough to be vacant the next time I need a place in Bloomington. ”

“What a beautiful lake, serene and quiet. Great get away for the holiday weekend.”

“Great property. Very secluded and quiet. Close to Nashville, which has a large selection of craft type shops and a great art presence. Brown County State Park is only a few more miles from town which offers beautiful views, very good hiking and mountain biking. The cabin is rustic but quite comfortable. The bed is probably the most comfortable we’ve had at a vacation rental. Would definitely stay again!”

“The place was very clean, it was the perfect get away. Very private, but still close enough to everything. The host was great with communication and responding. Would definitely stay again.”

“It's your standard basic hotel with basic hotel amenities. The appearance is dated, which I actually liked, because it was like going back in time. Most importantly, everything was clean and worked. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the woman who was cleaning the rooms. I recently stayed at a different (sleek new modern hotel) that had no towel racks anywhere in the bathroom, no microwave, no desk or chair, and no clock.
