Set right on the rippling, crystal clear waters of Donner Lake and boasting 180-degree panoramic views of the mountains to the south, this wonderful, two-story vacation rental offers an extremely comfortable and serene location for the perfect family vacation! Enjoy plentiful sunshine throughout the year both inside and out while you prepare your favorite recipes in the well-equipped, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances including a five-burner gas range. Dine together indoors at the breakfast bar, at the cozy kitchen table, or al fresco out on the deck complete with a gas grill for summertime cookouts. And in the evenings, settle into the inviting living area warmed by a wood-burning stove and stream your favorite shows and movies on the flatscreen TV. Back outside, discover 50-feet of easy access, a private waterfront as well as a dock and buoy for swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, and of course boating and trout fishing.

For your convenience, there is a market directly across the street for essentials as well as Donner Lake Kitchen, one of Truckee's most popular breakfast restaurants. Guests will also find community tennis and basketball courts at West End Beach, a 10-acre recreational park, just a little over two miles west.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 5 vehicles.

Dock details: This home has it's own private dock. There are also several public docks located around Donner Lake.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
