It all appears to be a temple because it is so incredibly ornate. It is a cultural experience just walking in. The breakfast each morning was great and delivered to my door. The a/c worked great. There was a bit of mold in my bathroom shower as I don't think there's a ventilation system in there, but all else was great. The bed was firm, but not as hard as most Asian hotel beds. It is about a 10 minute walk to the main road which has loads of restaurants, temples, shops, etc in the heart of Ubud. We usually walked but when the hotel vehicle is there, they will give you a ride down the road. Pretty quiet stay except for the roosters. Location-wise would be convenient if you have transport, but not within walking distance to nearby attractions, unless you're up for a nice long walk. Very friendly family-ran b&b with 2 cute little dogs, Mimi and Happy! <3 Davis and family were great hosts, offering us a ride into town for our early morning Yoga classes. Facilities and breakfast was good too.
