“The hotel is at the hill of Talkero with beautiful view. They have the bus with several stop to Lerici which is quiet and scenic. We had the seafood spaghetti two times at the Restaurant Defanio and he restaurant nearby Ristorante Il Gambero Nero. They are phenomenal.
The hotel also has great breakfast. The welcome drink is a plus. The balcony room with the sea breeze also veryy nice. We enjoyed our stay.”

“Hotel is outstanding, it’s over 500 years old and it’s immaculate, food was great, very quiet, first time we have ever stayed in a Palace, room was large with a King bed. My only criticism is that it doesn’t have a true shower. Staff were so polite and accommodating ….we loved the place. Shout out to Lucia who checked us in made us feel so welcome. “The property was in an amazing location, very handy for Motorola train station and therefore all the other villages of Cinque Terre.
The terrace was an added bonus to be able to sit out in the evening with a glass of wine and watch the sunset over the Mediterranean.
The room was excellent with a small fridge and private bathroom.
Finally, Lori, the manager could not have been more helpful on our arrival.

“Do not take the hiking path that starts from the town of Vernazza, call a taxi to bring your luggage to the top! We made the mistake of bringing our luggage up the hiking path, which took an hour and 1000ft of elevation! Be wary of Google Maps and ask locals for routes. The walk from top to bottom is about 40-50 minutes, and some 10% inclines, but great exercise if you don’t mind the journey!
