"Although the location and views were wonderful, the home itself was disappointing. Upon entering, we did not get the cozy feeling of an Irish home. Decor was at a bare minimum, with empty shelves and bookcase. The kitchen was lacking in many necessary items that you would expect and require to prepare a meal (ie frying pan, large bowls, coffee mugs) Every morning the water ran out (completely stopped working) before all 4 of us could shower. "Smooth booking, cot and highchair provided as requested. Great kitchen and dining space with plenty of lovely kitchenware. Heating and hot water easy and preset. Beach near the property was lovely (need to go over slippy rocky pathway to access but kids and adults could do so). Views from house were mountains, green fields and farm animals, very peaceful. A quiet area and a great place to renew yourself. We spent the week visiting historic sites, driving mountain passes, and even took a walk with alpacas!!"

"The location is beautiful and private and easy to find . Accommodation is spacious and comfortable enough ( apart from the pillows but everyone has different preferences) but felt a bit dark . It seems there is a damp issue as the property unfortunately smelt mildewy and the bed clothes were all damp on arrival which meant we had to use own blankets for the night - we wondered if there is scope to improve ventilation . "We chose this house so we could visit Skellig Island. Sadly, the trip was cancelled due to stormy weather but we didn't mind too much as the house was such a pleasure to hunker down in! We used our downtime to catch up on showers, laundry, rest, and relaxation before resuming our tour around Ireland. "This place was excellent for our Ireland Golf trip. We had 8 golfers which included two of my son’s and two wives joined us for a total group of 10. The home was well situated for our drives to some of Ireland’s premier golf courses and our day trip to Killarney. The house is much larger than it appears in the photos particularly the two upstairs king en suite bedrooms. Sean was easy to communicate with and made the process easy. Much appreciated. John"

"Our stay at "Tigin Mamo" was wonderful. The propeerty is off the beaten track about a mile outside the village. but is perfectly situated with a view over the estuary. The sun catches the landscape in different ways dependent on the time of day. The rooms are well sized and the property has had electrical heaters and an emersion heater for hot water. "Excellent place to stay - in a quiet spot with a large garden and lovely views, yet a short drive to the lively pubs and restaurants of Kenmare.
