She had already stocked the kitchen with eggs, bacon, bread, and milk. Our host was excellent about getting back to me with any questions I had ahead of time. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The cottage abuts a busy road, but the back bedrooms are quiet and while the front bedrooms had traffic noise from 6 AM onward the view of the Big Dipper and the planets at night was lovely. Even those of us who stayed in the front had no trouble falling back to sleep because the rooms were so comfortable. Our hostess was helpful when needed but otherwise invisible. Noeline welcomed us with open arms. The house was spacious for all twelve of us and very clean. We all fit at the huge dining room table. We enjoyed the fresh cut flower arrangements, the bottle of wine, eggs, bacon and homemade bread. When Noeline found out that it was my birthday she even brought us a birthday cake. She and her husband had left breakfast fixings so we wouldn’t have to go to the grocery the day we arrived. They also had gifted us with a bottle of wine and lovely chocolates for a 15th wedding anniversary we were celebrating, along with a delicious cake. The house is fabulous and just a few minutes outside of Dingle, Proper (as I like to call the town). To say that it was lovely is an understatement. Noeline was lovely in meeting us when we arrived and had the kitchen well-stocked with essentials for our first morning there (milk, eggs, oj, bacon, bread). There was a pack and play and a high chair for the baby, and plenty of space for all of us to spread out. We all really enjoyed the cows out back and the close location to town. Noeline greeted us and told us all the places to go. She was so welcoming and pleasant. She generously left us breakfast food which was so helpful also. The house was in a good location- just a few miles from town-easy to go back and forth. We were only five and stayed just two nights but there would be plenty of room for many more.
