“With all the great reviews, I was expecting it to be immaculate and well maintained. That was not my experience. It was very comfortable and relatively clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Full disclosure, my opinion could be slightly skewed because, for some reason, I thought the place was much closer to Effingham - but it was 45 minutes away adding an extra hour and a half to my trip. But that is NOT the hotel’s fault - I just didn’t check all the details closely enough on Expedia. But……

“The staff was great, they hadnt cleaned the room when we got there. They jumped right in and got the room ready for us. The room was clean the bed was comfortable and clean, The room was really great, looked like time had taken its toll on the room, but, we figured its a older Motel, but still was comfortable. The only thing that was needing care, was the floor, it needed to have been swept and mopped, but still a clean room, and will stay there again.”
