Fabulous b&b, highly recommend. Modern & well appointed bedroom, bathroom with superb fixtures/fittings. Quirky rooms with high end furniture very comfy!

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel with my family. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff was friendly and always ready to help. The best part was the great location easy walking distance to main centre of York, close to restaurants, shopping, and local attractions. Breakfast was also fresh and delicious with a great choice for my fussy teenagers. Plus point is free parking at the hotel. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.”

Burton Stone Inn was fantastic. Ideal base for anyone looking to explore the city. Not too far to walk from the Inn to the main attractions.
Rooms were clean, fresh and welcoming. Staff were helpful and polite. We will definitely be returning!

Michael was very welcoming and helpful, as was George. Eclectic, warm and cozy furnishings, comfy bed, good shower, hearty fresh cooked breakfast. About 1/2 mile from the city center. Lovely, tree lined street with period homes. Not far from a little Sainsbury’s market, short taxi ride from the train station. We look forward to coming again in the future.

15 minute walk to city centre and parking onsite which was a bonus, breakfast was excellent, the downstairs bar was only open from 4pm till 8pm and apart from some traffic noise as our room was situated facing the main road everything was excellent. We even had a fridge in the room which was useful. Staff were great and we had a very relaxing weekend in York thanks to our hosts at the Burton Stone Inn.
