“Great breakfast. Amazing staff”

“We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely return. The property has been newly renovated with a modern, stylish design that made the entire resort feel fresh and welcoming. Our room was exceptionally spacious and comfortably accommodated our family of four. The check-in process was quick and easy. We also really enjoyed the amenities, especially the hot tub and spa, which made our stay even more relaxing after days of hiking. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always willing……

“The Brook Trout Inn is a real gem. It has been locally owned for the last ten years. The owner and staff are wonderful people. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location makes local towns like Highlands, Cashiers, and Brevard accessible with relatively short drives. There is lots of hiking and waterfalls in the local area. A great place to stay.”

“Hotel is vey neat, clean and modern. Front staffs are very helpful and friendly, especially evening shift. Room is very clean. Only draw back are Phone doesn’t hook up or line up in room 321. Shower tub floor is very slippery. Morning meal doesn’t have bacon. Not much fruiits in the bucket. Only few apple served.”

“The Balsam Mountain Inn was a most wonderful place to stay!! EVERY single staff member could not have been more helpful!! To sit on the porch and relax and look at the view was an experience all it's own....sooooo relaxing!! Coffee was a local brand and tasted amazing, along with the pastries. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and the long, hot shower was refreshing. The Inn was close to restaurants downtown and just a shirt trip! You will not be disappointed! Please support this……

“Taking a shower there was excellent the water pressure was strong and felt good. Bathroom a little small but overall I enjoyed my stay there. I book this place again and stay there ”

“Great location - although lots of stairs if that's an issue. The property is beautiful and within easy walking distance to downtown Highlands. The lobby and bar looked really nice, and we were looking forward to coming back from dinner and grabbing a cocktail, and just hanging out, but were told at 730pm that there was a private party and that those areas were closed off to guests. I don't think I have ever heard of closing the lobby to guests - pretty disappointing.”

“Really cool 60's vibe. Rock band pictures, peace signs everywhere. It really oozed peace and love throughout. We grew up in the 60's so it really took us back in time. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Location is very close to downtown. Great!”
