“We stayed with our young son for 3 nights in July 2024. The staff were absolutely lovely, so welcoming and helpful with everything we needed and great with interacting with our young son. The food - breakfast and dinner - is truly incredible with nothing too much trouble. The only downside we experienced really was that we were in a room on the top floor which, while the room had clearly been hoovered etc, it was dusty in places with lots of cobwebs - while we don't mind spiders, we removed……

“We arrived tired after visiting elsewhere in the area. Check in quick and easy. Our room was well appointed and quiet and spotlessly clean. The beer garden was gorgeous, a great space for relaxing. The bed was so comfortable and we really appreciated the standing fan as the weather was very warm. The breakfast was great with quick service and friendly staff. Check out was quick and efficient. “This were lovely rooms (we booked two, as there was a group of four of us) and they were identical, except one had a shower, the other a bath. They were spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfy. Staff were very helpful, it is worth noting they don't serve food on Sundays but we were guided to a local pub within five minutes walk as an alternative. ”
