“This hotel has done a beautiful job in reusing the historic Amana woolen mill. I have stayed in many reuse buildings, but this is the nicest. You feel very much connected to the history, without an ounce of kitsch. I also really appreciated the way they used Iowa wildflowers for landscaping, including lots of milkweed plants, which are the plants monarch butterflies rely on.”
“Liked beds and Bathroom. Had issue with TV which was resolved. Air conditioner was blowing cool even when set at 78 degrees. Turned down to HEAT and had a good night.”
“This hotel is going through a remodel at the time. I’m not sure when the remodel is supposed to be finished.
My only concern is that during our entire stay, no one came in and cleaned the room. We were there for three nights.
The breakfast was OK, it’s better than most places, but not up to the Marriott standard.
Would I stay at this hotel again?
Yes, but that’s just because the other options in the area are just not as good.”
