“The location is not good, far away from the city center. The room is not very clean. The staff will not let you feel welcome. The car park is not on site the hotel, need to walk to the public car parking , walk 5-7 mins. I will not stay at this hotel again. ”

“We stayed at the White Star Tavern the night before a cruise. I chose this hotel because we prefer places that are unique and not part of a chain of hotels. We were not disappointed! The check in process was smooth and we were asked what time we would like a cab take us to the cruise port. That was a pleasant surprise. Our room was small”

“A lovely country house hotel. Our room was very spacious with an outside patio where we enjoyed a complimentary glass of wine. The bathroom was large with a bath and a shower. We ate in the “Tasting Room” and very much enjoyed the tasting menu. The area outside the hotel has pleasant area with tables and chairs which we enjoyed as it was a warm sunny day. The hotel is quite expensive, but we thought it worth the money. The spa was OK, small and a little tired but we enjoyed our swim in the pool.……

“Good: The decoration of the room is cozy and in good classic style There is a bar on the ground floor which is good Staff are nice and friendly Bad: Strong smell in the bathroom which is disgusting, we think that comes from the eroding wood The water boiler is not clean and there is even water remain inside Being asked for the room key after check out but believe their staff mixed things up (Wrong number tag on the key)”
