“large bed”

“When we arrived we had to wait in the lobby almost 30 minutes before somebody came to the desk. The lobby phone did not work, the hotel phone number did not work, and when I finally called Expedia to cancel, a guy finally showed up to check us in. We barely spent time in the room, so I don't have much feedback for that. However, housekeeping was banging on our door at SIX THIRTY IN THE DAMN MORNING!!! Considering we were on vacation, I was LIVID!!! To top it off, when we checked out the front……

“It was a honeymoon trip. We spent 2 nights at Hotel Blake. Before our check-in, I texted them through the app about our late check-in, and the concierge was so responsive. I didn't ask for anything, but they treated us to a bottle of white wine and a box of chocolate, which was above my expectations! Beyond that, they upgraded us to a corner room. It means a lot to us because of the Taste of Chicago event, I got to see the fireworks from the huge windows. Highlighted our honeymoon, thank you,……

“This review is for the 2 Queen River View Room. Compared with the 2 Queen Deluxe room, which I had before, the 2 Queen River View Room had a larger bathroom, full-height closet (important for hanging dresses/long garments), luggage rack without asking, 2 bathrobes (instead of 2), 2 facial masks, and a vanity amenities box (cotton balls & swabs, makeup-removing wipes). Beds were good; Wi-Fi worked; room temp adjustable. Lots of storage/drawer space and furniture surfaces. Good bedside charging……

“好”

“Loud noise from the structure of the building at random times during day and night time (till 2am). Noise definitely not from the street and our room was not facing busy street, and the banging noise (almost like throwing a dumbbell to the ground) came from the bathroom. Hotel claimed they did not know where the noise came from and refused to change room.”

“早餐还不错。设施有点旧”

“Not traditional hotel. Cozy and stylish one. 10 minutes walk to Clake/ Lake CTA station which directly go to airport. A pretty good choice for medium priced accommodation in a high living cost city like Chicago. ”

“位於Monroe 和 N State St 之間, 優勢是交通便利，走路到 M park 很近。免費早餐提供適當足夠的食物與飲料，CP質高。櫃檯服務人員都很友善，提供諮詢與行李寄存服務。房間有一缺點是浴室地板沒有排水孔，抽風功能似乎不足，要注意盥洗時避免讓水潑濺到地板。”

“It's a nice hotel in a good location. The spaces are a little small but adequate. The staff was helpful and the room was clean. My only real compliant is the lack of free brewed coffee but we did get a $10/day voucher to use to buy coffee in the lobby cafe. I would say the lobby cafe is a weak point that the hotel probably has no association with.”

“The hotel location is ok,but the room is very small and old. There is no coffee machine in the room, even don't have a bottle of water. The girl at the front desk is arrogant. 3-night hotel experience is not good.”
