“If you’re looking for an adorable retro motel, this property is perfect. We found it “as advertised”. Easy communication, check in, great directions. No problems. It is a motel, and for the price it’s exactly what you’d expect, no more, no less. Clean, cute, comfy bed & great location to beaches.”

“We had a great time during our stay at The Local. The coffee machine and pool are specifically on point! The location was fantastic and being able to rent bikes was convenient and a highlight of our trip. My only critiques would be to have more hangers available or a clothesline for wet swimsuits, and possibly some sort of blackout shade for the windows because they let in a lot of light at night. I appreciated the amazing customer service for the questions I had during and after our stay.……

“This place was tamazing! From check-in to check-out the whole vibe was awesome. The beach was beautiful, the local food places were sooo good! The room was the best, the jetted tub to both floors having balconies! Can't wait to go back!”

“Located in a quiet neighborhood. Lots of nearby bars (though I didn’t get to try any of them). Super easy parking. Both outdoor lot & indoor garage available. All of the staffs I encountered were nice and friendly. Room’s very clean, but I feel like it’s time for a new AC filter. I woke up with stuffy nose which is very unusual for me as a person with no allergies at all. Additionally, the room was freezing cold and the AC controller didn’t really do anything. I couldn’t turn it off or……

“Everything was pretty amazing, just like the pictures. The only thing I would change was the smell on the room 253. Something was pretty smelly on the disposal and the maintenance wasn’t able to fix that during our stay. The breakfast is amazing and I would like to send a huge appreciation for the elderly man who works pretty hard everyday and made us feel cared.”
