“The Emerald room was great, close to the parking with its own entrance. The staff was wonderful, our air conditioners were not working, but they offered us another room(which we refused) and they made it very comfortable for us with fans. It did not affect our visit at all.i would stay there again.”

“Excellent small motel with great location across the bridge from the St Augustine old town. Room was a nice size with a direct view of the water and a view of old town on the other side of the channel. Appetizers served 5-6 in the evening. A nice breakfast is served in the mornings. No disappointments at all! All of the staff was friendly and helpful. A wonderful stay!”

“From check-in to check-out our stay at Edgewater Inn was wonderful. Nothing could surpass the beautiful scenery right outside our door. The room was large and very comfortable. The shower was wonderful. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. All staff at this hotel were very polite and helpful. I would certainly recommend this hotel to everybody who wants a great get-a-way with great views. ”

“Sauberes Zimmer in einer fantastischen Lage, um St. Augustine zu erkunden. Alle waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hatte einen coolen Flair, mitten in der Altstadt in einem historischen Apartment zu wohnen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon über einer Wein-/Kaffeebar. Dort wurde live Musik gespielt. Am Abend konnten wir gemütlich auf dem Balkon mit den Schaukelstühlen sitzen und der Musik lauschen.”

“Located in the heart of St Augustine close to shops and monuments. As an inn, it’s ok — quiet, clean, parking included. The food could use a bit of improvement, and some aspects of the building could use a refresh. ”

“This was not what we were expecting when we booked this for this price point. The room was dirty, the property was dirty, the bathroom was dirty. I understand that it was a historic building but I’ve stayed in one’s before that were still cleaner. The woman at breakfast was amazing but the food was basic pancakes and there is no guarantee that you’ll see any of the same people working the next visit since they use World Packers volunteers that don’t stay for long. For parking you either pay 15……

“The room was very clean, Looks like a recent remodel. It was cool the night we stayed, so I can’t comment on the A/C, but it is a wall mounted window unit. ”

“Possibly the freshest-smelling, comfiest bed I've slept in. We enjoyed three nights here on spring break. The breakfast & happy hour deliveries were the cherry on top! So nice to return to after exploring the city or the beach (5-10 min away). The staff were so accommodating to us. Our trip coincided with a cold snap — so the comfy couches & lounge areas upstairs on the deck were just the place. Hope to return!”

“First time spending over $400 for a 2 star for location. Location was epic, right in the middle of old St. Augustine. Adding $25 to park your car was ridiculous. Granted, price point was last minute (a week in advance) booking through expedia,and during spring break, but I'll probably avoid the central location next time for a quieter sleep as the location was definitely not condusive to peaceful slumber.”
