“Only issues were the lights in the bathroom got very hot which seemed like a potential fire safety issue and the door key was extremely finicky Otherwise a very pleasant experience. Beautiful property, helpful staff.”

“I stayed here for three nights while attending my daughters' Nipissing graduation. The room was merely okay. It smelled a bit mouldy after the rain. It could definitely use a fresh coat of paint and the bathroom was starting to fall apart. However, (and for the price) everything worked as I needed it to; hence the "okay" rating. The staff is friendly and helpful. I noticed the first floor rooms all got new mattresses (they were lined up in the hallway) and mine was perfectly comfortable. They……

“Small hotel, priced right, everything worked as it should wonderful owner , Clean , Not poshy, everything wirkedcrr well, fridge With freezer made ice, little coffees pot worked great, iron with ironing board, excellent pressure in the shower My point is sometimes you pay big money at a big hotel and half the stuff doesn’t work or they haven’t changed the bedsheets. This place was not pushy but very well maintained very well. Kept fresh sheets. Everything worked good shower pressure……

“For someone looking for a quick place to stay, this is satisfactory and will serve the purpose. This is not the Ritz Carlton so don’t expect a 5 star stay. Check-in was easy and staff were friendly. The rooms have been renovated somewhat but they are lacking USB ports for charging phones, watches etc so bring proper chargers with you. Breakfast was your normal continental style and was pretty reasonable. Overall it was sufficient for a night stay. The property is dated somewhat but they do make……

“Older hotel but well maintained and room is updated. Didn’t have a great check in, staff were distracted managing multiple tasks and what could have been 5 minute check in was very drawn out. Room was clean and modern update. No elevator to access second floor so if needed maybe reconsider. Overall decent stay however very dissatisfied with breakfast service. Wasn’t the purpose of our trip so was a minor inconvenience but if you plan to eat breakfast arrive very early or plan a different……

“You have a prime location in North Bay that you could really take advantage of, unfortunately the establishment is in dire need of modern updates. We will not return, unless renovations happen, and pride of ownership improves.”
