"Beautiful historical building in the center of town. Lovely, welcoming lobby with a wine bar, gorgeous room flooding with natural light, close to all of the restaurants and shops downtown. A 10-min walk to Luther Burbank Gardens. Staff is super friendly—everyone! A nice little continental breakfast too. "

"Beautiful property but we had a few hiccups during our stay. A staff member opened the door and walked into my room without knocking (I presume he didn’t realized I’d checked in, but it was still alarming), one of the bath robes was wet, the record player in our room was broken and the shelf in the shower was falling off the wall. What I’m most unimpressed by though was that I shared this feedback upon checkout a wasn’t offered more than an apology from the host. I also shared this in the hotel’s feedback form which they sent me after my stay and also never heard from anyone. I rarely write reviews but the disregard for my experience when shared with the hotel left a bad taste in my mouth. At \~$500 per night, I expect more from a service perspective "
