“Really nice, welcoming place. Very well-located for the centre of Matera (a short walk), free parking - probably *the* best hotel to stay in when visiting Matera. Loses 'full marks' since the air-conditioning (clima) appeared ineffective, and the shower was very difficult to use without getting water all over the rest of the bathroom.”

“We had a lovely stay at Agriturismoteo. The family that runs the place was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was home cooked and we were served plenty of fruit and berries that had been grown at the farm. They charged 5 euro/day for AC (which we didn't use, but would recommend others to!). Locations was good too. It's close to the beach and to Matera. We really recommend this place for everyone interested in authentic and special experiences. “Stay was saved by the pool, table tennis and a comfortable bed. Be prepared to drive a lot as not much in walking distance. Breakfast was poor. Shower was rubbish as shower head broken. No multilingual staff.”
