Made a reservation through Expedia and upon arrival, the clerk could not find the reservation and said that my card was declined. I was outraged and had to show my reservation on my phone. After he read the reservation number, he found the reservation and did not apologize. 2\. When I entered my reserved room, it smelled of urine and cigarette smoke. There was a dead bug on the bathroom floor. I kept spraying the air conditioning with Lysol to relieve the stench. The bed sread had cigarette burns on it luckily I carry my own blankets, sheets, and pillows. The smoke detector was disabled and put in the bedside table next to the bed. The remote control for the TV was not programmed correctly so it skipped channels and would not respond to simple digit inputs. 3\. I went to a Dollar General and bought carpet deodorizer and Febreze and sprayed the carpet. 4\. Would not recommend or make a reservation here ever again. My wife and I stayed 1 night in room 226\. We originally had room 118 however when we got into the room, the toilet was constantly running so I had them move us. Room 226 wasnt very much better. The ceiling definitely had leaks in the past as the seam tape was pealing off and there was bad water stains on the ceiling. There wasn't a smoke alarm in the room either, which, in my opinion, is a major fire hazard, and 2 of the lights in the room did not work. The "blanket" they provide also had cigarette burn holes in it and the door locked, thankfully, but looked like it had been kicked in a time or two. The heater, set at 85°F, was also not blowing very hot on a cold night. I could go on and on. Would have extended my stay beyond one night but after 2 below sub-par rooms, we decided to leave. I wouldnt have stayed, however, my stay was non-refundable. Overall, very poor quality rooms.
