We were very happy with our stay. The listing was accurate and the house instructions and functionality of everything was great. The location worked well for our time near Jamestown and the apartment was quiet and comfortable. There was good space for our dog with the nice-sized yard- "plenty of sniffs".

Host was very responsive and very accommodating for our Christmas getaway! The place was very rustic (our vibe) and very clean. It was equipped with more than enough to cook, eat, clean without having to buy anything else besides the actual food to cook. Heat and hot water was available, worked wonders, and lasts to keep us warm this brutal winter!

Emily’s place was in a perfect location and very clean. The kitchen was well-equipped and we loved the porch. The grill was nice to use as well. A few things to keep in mind- there is no AC. Luckily, it wasn’t terribly hot when we stayed, and the fans did help. This is a large home that has a downstairs unit as well, which was empty when we were there. If you stay in the upstairs unit, there are stairs you must use to get into the unit, and a set of steps to get to the bedroom upstairs. We loved the rustic charm of this place, as it was in a quiet neighborhood and close to Lake Chautauqua, and also to the state park. We enjoy fishing and found this home was within 20-30 minutes of Lake Erie boat docks. We enjoyed our stay!

Great spot in Bemus Point

The barn is a very nice basic stay spot. The place is cozy, the kitchen amenities are generous, and the bedroom very comfortable. Our stay was in winter, but I am sure the porch area would be a nice hangout in warm weather. The owners were very helpful when the place got a bit cold, raising the temperature remotely. You’re not very close to the lake or the town at this property, but you will enjoy the peace and quiet if that’s what you’re looking for.
