“Lovely place overall, and we truly enjoyed our stay. However, my friends and I specifically booked this location because we were looking forward to using the pool. Unfortunately, it was not up and running during our visit. We do wish this had been communicated to us in advance, as it did impact our experience.”

“The positive- Clean, spacious house with full kitchen and amazing location. Great AC, hot water, safe for walking to the grocery store or enjoying activities in the city, Clear, friendly commutation with the host. Improvements- I would like to have had seating on the huge veranda or car port to enjoy the outdoors but it is more set up to spend time inside. Mattress are on the lower end so that make it rough on the back and it’s covered in a plastic protector that makes it noisy and hot when……

“Our family of 5 stayed in two cabins in late December 2023 and had a great time. The cabins were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Each had a porch looking out over fields and the Macal River. Manon was a fantastic host. She gave us great recommendations on places to eat in San Ignacio and things to do in the Cayo Region. The Lodge is down a dirt road that is very bumpy (like most roads in the region) and became very muddy because of the rain so we parked about 1/3 mile from the lodge……

“We had a wonderful stay. The home is large, spacious, and exceptionally clean. We didn’t end up cooking during our visit, but the kitchen is very well-equipped and easily suited for preparing full meals.The upstairs balcony was absolutely beautiful and a great place to relax. We truly enjoyed meeting Melly and her husband — they were incredibly responsive, kind and welcoming.The location was perfect.
