“The property is a 5-6 minute walk to downtown so easy access to shops, bars and restaurants. This includes Maya Walk so getting there for caving and ruins tours was easy. Far enough away to avoid the noise. Host was responsive. It was a little confusing to get the TV to work so i could watch the Super Bowl but we eventually got there. No regrets. ”

Great AC, hot water, safe for walking to the grocery store or enjoying activities in the city, Clear, friendly commutation with the host. Improvements- I would like to have had seating on the huge veranda or car port to enjoy the outdoors but it is more set up to spend time inside. “Our family of 5 stayed in two cabins in late December 2023 and had a great time. The cabins were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Each had a porch looking out over fields and the Macal River. Manon was a fantastic host. She gave us great recommendations on places to eat in San Ignacio and things to do in the Cayo Region.
