Loved our stay here. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff was wonderful. Located right on the river, so you have incredible views while eating your morning pho. Definitely recommend.

The location on the riverbank is absolutely beautiful. The family is delightful and Sharn and Hung are so helpful. Sharon’s great English and sense of humour makes communication easy.

Great location stunning views especially from the river and mountain view rooms. Super friendly and helpful hosts. Breakfast and dining options will keep you fuelled. Beds very comfortable. Couldn't fault as a charming little homestay in advance of a caving trip. I'd stay there again.

Stunning and beautiful view. Owners were so friendly and helpful. They were able to help us with transport after our original booking didn’t turn up. We were so relieved. We had already organised our cave experiences but they would have been able to recommend and book too

Great stay with amazing views

The place has amazing views over the river. The room as clean and tidy. Breakfast had a small pre-order selection, but it was tasty and felt like local produce. The only downside was that the room felt cold and damp without any heating avaliable, but they do provide an extra thick blanket over the bed.

Washroom had a pile of dead ant on the windows, staff was kind and offer plenty of services but the definitely overcharge you by a significant amount. For the duck farm they offered to take us there and back for 400,000 dong compared to a grab driver that did it for 180,000 two ways. Also the sleeper bus I booked through them had several complications as it was supposed to pick us up at hotel as the man said but then we had to take a cab to a different spot, they paid for the cab which was good but just the unorganized event was slightly off putting. As well as the sleeper bus we booked was also 50,000 dong more compared to other places, so overall the staff was kind but obviously values your money more than your satisfaction, room was clean but washroom was kinda gross with all the ants, service was good but you’re basically charged for their smiles.

Phong Nha base

Beautiful views although a little out of central area. Main restaurants are walkable though. Staff helped us arrange transport to Hue, breakfast choices overall were good.

I do not recommend

Not much effort on any areas. The room was dirty with hair in the bathroom (not ours!), beds dirty. The owners were somewhat helpful in arranging a tour, but nothing more than that. On our day of departure we had told him we got picked up at 7:00am and asked if it was possible to have breakfast and also settle on the bill. At 6:55 there was no one around. He came at around 7:00 when we where suppose to go, he didn’t wrap up the bill as promised and we had to wait for him to make the bill ready, then the creditcard machine didn’t work and we had to go with him to a different place to pay. Cherry on top of the cake, we had put our luggage in the reception while finishing the payment and when we got back one of our suitcases was missing!!! The owner apparently had to drive some guests, and he took the wrong suitcase. I think it’s insane not to confirm the luggage you take with the guests youre driving. We tried to talk with the other people working there but no one spoke English and everyone ignored us even though we were panicking that our suitcase was gone. And instead of apologizing and coming back, he told us that we could come and find him on the highway with our driver!!! We did, got the suitcase but he didn’t even bother to come over and apologize for the mistake. I understand that mistakes happens, but at least own up to it. Almost an hour late, we could finally get going with our driver.

Super familiäre Unterkunft die sich liebevoll um uns gekümmert hat. Top organisiert - u.a. haben wir über Hung (Gastgeber) die Paradise Cave Tour gebucht. Richtiges Homestay Feeling wo die Mutter noch kocht und die ganze Familie mithilft. Wir würden sofort wieder buchen😊

Schöne Unterkunft mit tollem Blick und lecker!!

Eigentlich müsste man es negativ bewerten, da das Zimmer nicht frei war, welches wir gebucht hatten... Die Lage war toll mit super Blick auf den Fluss und die Berge. Tolles Essen und smoothies!!! Alles wirklich super lecker. Freundliches Personal und ein gutes Zimmer.
