“I stayed here for the pool and was not disappointed. Be prepared to eat at the hotel or take a grab to find food as there is no where nearby. Beach is pretty and deserted. ”

“Good location along the river. Beach is a bit far away. Spacious room with comfortable bed. However, room was dated lacking conveniently placed outlets and had no USB ports. Breakfast options were good, but the restaurant was small and crowded during our visit. Staff was friendly.”

“Minimal bugs and creatures in the room when it's right next to the field. Great job cleaning and tidying up. We stayed during the field clearing season so the burning/smoke kept us indoor for an hour at sunset until the smoke clear. After that, no problem. We used the pool after the smoke is gone. Food was decent, staff were very nice and helpful.”

“If I could give this place more stars I would. Honestly can’t say enough good things about our stay here. We got in late after an overnight bus and the owner came and picked us up from the bus stop. The place was well kept, and extremely beautiful. He also kept our bags the whole next day while we did a cave tour and even dropped us off at the train station after.”

“Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay at Nguyen Shack so much! There is such lovely views from the room and eating area. The yoga was amazing and it was so convenient having breakfast there every AM, The staff are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met,., they truly want you to feel at home.
