“The cabin was sooooo cute and totally private tucked in the woods. It had everything we needed for our short weekend stay. It was well-appointed and very comfortable. The host was very responsive. The smoke alarm was beeping when we arrived and he was there within moments to resolve it. ”

“Very comfortable house. Kitchen has most any cooking items someone would need. The sleeping porch is a great place to enjoy the view of the creek. The gas fireplace kept things cozy in the evening. ”

“The cabin was very quiet, just what we came for during our sisters' weekend getaway as a meeting place between North Carolina and Ohio. It was very clean (that's important and easily critiqued for me). The photos don't do the nice cabin justice. It's new, and still has a new smell as of October 2025. And unusual for new construction, the pretty wood floors are creeky; rustic feeling but very noticable in the quiet space.Not shown/explained is one bathroom is downstairs with two bedrooms, and one……

“River’s Bend was one of our favorite western VA cabin stays to date. Its location is unique - remote enough for dark skies and the sounds of wildlife, with the thrill of the train when it makes its way through the tunnel under the property.
