Loved the location, the staff and the restaurant was wonderful. I could have been more attentive to the room I was booking which was on the lower level - Family room - in the cottage. Great for a family stay but not quite the more romantic stay we had intended. Still a great place to go - short walk to Bowdoin.

Small but very quaint, clean and attentive. We just stayed for one night but would stay again if needed. Tiny room - but enough for what we needed. Nice breakfast in the morning in the dining room.

Located right off the common, and easy walking to shops and restaurants on Maine Street. Parking was right next to the building. We had a loft room in the Carriage House, which was clean, comfortable, and had ample room for the two of us. We didn't get to explore the main house much but the restaurant/dining area is charming.

The breakfast was delicious. Maine seems to have perfected the blueberry, and they have incorporated them into the pancake. Bucolic grounds and surroundings. Very nice two days.

Beautiful Inn. Excellent Breakfast. Lovely staff. Amenity comment: If you use conditioner, be sure to bring it as the property does not provide any in the rooms. Shampoo, soap and makeup wipes were given. We stayed in the Main House Suite.
