“This was our 2nd trip to Hard Rock R. Maya. I was disappointed to say the least, overall it was not very clean, especially the swimming pools; pools were disgusting. The staff was not very helpful, and less attentive than I have experienced at other Hard Rocks. As soon as we checked in, we told the staff immediately that we did not want to become a member and that we were not going to go to the meeting about becoming a member, seems service went down hill really quick for us after that.”

“The staff was very friendly and helpful. It matches with the description. But a lot of things didn’t work when I arrive, the wifi didn’t work, no TV signal, the stove top didn’t work, the microwave didn’t work. The staff did respond quickly to come fix things. The good side is the AC, shower, laundry washer and dryer all works great. There was only two rolls of toilet paper for me, for the whole 15 days, and there is no cleaning for the whole duration of the booking, which matches with the……

“Amazing resort with beautiful grounds, countless palm trees, and incredible wildlife. Seeing iguanas and colorful birds every day made our stay even more special. The food was excellent, with plenty of delicious options for every taste. The staff was welcoming, everything was spotless and well maintained, and we can’t wait to come back!”

“Avoid ocean front rooms (it’s a scam with the only view being that of garden!) Water slideshow are there but not included (they charge extra for that in an all inclusive resort)”

“Palmaia was such a peaceful paradise! We went in mid June and it was pretty quiet so we felt like we had so much space to ourselves. Our nomadic guide Karen was helpful with all of our questions and checked in with us each day to see if we needed anything. We really appreciated her! Edgar gave us a tour when we first arrived and helped us get to the store at Sandos when we needed to get electrolytes (I got dehydrated the first day!) But what helped even more was when room service brought us……

“This was one of the most dreamy places I've ever visited. The grounds were gorgeous between the beach, the jungle, and the architecture. The service was unrivaled. Luxurious in every sense. Can't wait to come back!”

“The property is right on the beach! We were unable to get in the water and use a lot of the amenities, like paddle boards, due to the sargassum (which is on every beach in the Riviera Maya). The restaurant staff were very attentive and the breakfast was good. They made us a to go meal on our last day. There is no other choice for meals in the area, so you need a car if you want to eat elsewhere. Taxis were $400-450 Mex pesos for a one way ride to the nearest village. You get 1 bottle of water……
