“This house is gorgeous. The owner is super sweet and very easy to get in touch with. She kept us informed as weather had closed some roads on arrival day. Grocery store close. Activities and fun things to do near. Nice and quite at night. House is gorgeous nice and big plenty of space for the large group we had. Everyone had an excellent time. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!”

“My family had a great time staying at this property. The check-in process was simple which was a huge win after a 6+hr drive with kids and pups. The kitchen was fully stocked, my pups enjoyed running up and down the rolling hills, the firepit area was amazing, hottub was clean and enjoyable, the gameroom was a hit, and my wife played hours of Mario Brothers (refused to share with the kids - ha). Being just a short drive to Ashville and peaceful drive to the ski slopes, this lovely farmhouse offers an escape while still allowing you to be connected to the city and other attractions. The baby goats and piglets are adorable, but their handsome farm cat, Manoosh was the highlight of our stay! Jean has a gift for hospitality and Steve is a talented photographer. “This home was up to date, clean and easy access to surrounding areas. It was honestly the best "stocked" home I have ever stayed in. The kitchen had great dishes of all kinds, tons of spices and herbs..ect. Even the laundry room had several detergents to choose from and stain remover. That was amazing. Communication with the owner was fantastic. He was very quick to reply, friendly and flexible. We were initially planning on heading home on a Sunday. We asked for a late check out, as we were……

“Positives- House was very clean. Well-stocked kitchen and bathroom. Very comfortable mattresses. Plenty of room for our family of six (2 adult kids and 2 teens). Nice fire pit and comfy chairs around fire pit. Beautiful view looking up at a mountain and down across a field with chickens. Hammock and picnic table available for creekside relaxation and enjoyment. Negatives- One of the reasons we come to the mountains is to enjoy the fresh, crisp mountain air. We opened the windows to enjoy the air……

“A perfect location for getting to the WNC Ag Center in Fletcher - an easy, no-highway route. Prior to travel, we had speedy and clear communications with the owners/managers, with easy check-in followed by a warm welcome and offers for local info as needed. Home layout and furnishings made for a very comfortable stay, and there were ample conveniences nearby (gas stations, restaurants, grocery, pharmacy, craft breweries, etc.).”

“The house itself was well maintained and as described, but we did have a couple issues with our stay overall- a prior renter had a dog which left dog fur on the furniture and rugs, resulting in our clothes being covered in fur and my 1yr old daughter’s skin getting irritated as she is allergic to dogs. The dog friendly rental was a bit of an oversight because obviously people let their dogs all over the furniture and I wasn’t counting on sitting on the couch or stepping on the bedroom rug and……
