“The property itself is a bit outdated although the room in which I stayed seemed newly refurbished and I liked it a lot! Even though it was a budget accommodation, it did include ammenities such as coffee, shampoo, shower gel, etc. The wifi was excellent. The neighborhood was conveniently located for my purposes (25-30 minute walk to Cardiff Bay and to downtown Cardiff). The neighborhood was on the residential side so not very lively. I was on the first floor and was able to hear people going……

“Très bon emplacement à moins de 10 minutes à pied des restaurants et du stade. Par contre, impossible de se doucher - ce qui est très gênant pendant 3 jours et 2 nuits : l'eau était bouillante (même en position froide !!! Appartement petit quand même mais le gros problème a été la douche !!!”

“This was ok for a last minute stop but the room was so sensitive to noise. Could hear every movement and sound around the house. Also the mattress had pilling so bad you could feel it through the fitted sheet. Made me so itchy I didn’t sleep very much at all. For a guest house that looked so pleasing, it was below average.”

Our room smelt strongly of cigarette smoke, the shower mat towel was soaking wet on arrival, the power shower did not provide hot water despite trying all settings for some time and there was no soap for washing. We were also disturbed several times in the night by a group of very loud drunk people who managed to lock themselves out of their room and spent a long time vomiting in the communal toilet adjacent to our room with the toilet door left open. “Firstly I didn’t receive a key code and no one answered the phone to get the code. Hotels.com couldn’t help either. Luckily another guest opened the door so we could call the phone number in a table inside the property. They still couldn’t give us the key code. It took an hour just to get into our room. Which was very basic. No in case of fire instructions inside the room I’m or anywhere in the property. One good thing was the food that was available to us in the morning. Bread , butter, eggs……

“We had amazing stay at the property. The house was clean, spacious, and the staff/owners were helpful. It was accessible to many places and we were given a parking permit to park on site. Generally, it was a beautiful experience. Would be booking again and would recommend to anyone visiting Cardiff. ”

“The apartment itself was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable, with little to no outside noise to disrupt sleep. Reception isn’t open on weekends but there was great communication from staff giving me information of how to access anything I needed. It’s a walkable distance into the town centre, Castle and Cardiff Central station, therefore offering places nearby to get any food, shopping etc. ”
