Property is pretty so so however no real front desk, you press a button and someone comes out. it also isn’t staffed 7-11pm which may be an inconvenience for those of you arriving late. Once finally getting into my room the key was very hard to get to lock the room again and had to be slammed shut while turning the key to fully lock. however after those negatives, for the price you really can’t complain. the room was clean with free coffee and tea, they give you a body towel, hand towel and some amenities for the shower. all of this for £30 makes it a really nice place to stay at when in a pinch.

It was cheap but that's it. The bed was comfy but the walls extremely this. I heard someone with a clear mental issue arguing with himself for 8 hours. Had very little sleep and ended up having to do a fire service recruitment test and a 4 hour motorbike journey in poor weather, extremely tired.

The building presents well from the front and the staff are very helpful and always available. It was my first time staying somewhere with a shared bathroom between around 4 rooms however there was a separate toilet as well as a toilet in the bathroom. It was always clean and I never saw anyone else in them. The room was nice and simple however the aerial on my tv wasn’t fantastic and it was very small. The area itself is quite noisy and I didnt feel safe walking to the store one night as it is close to town and it attracts some rough people. The rest park only has 4 car spaces and it is very tight. My car was unable to fit in there easily without blocking anyone else. On street parking available down side streets less than a minute away. All in all, I would stay again as the staff were fantastic and would go out of their way to help out as I was fortunate enough to find out when I had an issue with my phone.

Tanes Hotel was one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. It had a good supply of refreshments in the room, and the room itself was very comfortable and maintained at a good temperature. The service I received was minimal but polite, helpful and accommodating. Excellent value for money
