“The hotel aims to be a diverse resort, but the actual management appears chaotic and inefficient. Staff lack proper training in service, hygiene, and English proficiency, and the maintenance of hotel facilities is poor. Overall, the hygiene standards of the rooms and restaurant do not reach five-star levels, and the quality does not match the price. Unfortunately, this is currently the only upscale hotel on the island.”
“Das Personal war sehr freundliche! Für 2 Nächte in CatBa war eine für den niedrigen Preis eine wirklich gute Unterkunft. Leider waren die Zimmer nicht ganz sauber und im Bad gab es etwas Schimmel. Alles in allem aber für ein günstiges Zimmer und einen kurzen Aufenthalt super.”
“Hotel was clean and staff, like most Vietnamese were lovely, very friendly and very helpful.
Hard to get any information from hotel due to a little bit of communication breakdown on the day we tried, but there are plenty
of tour shops around the area.
A lot of construction across the road, but it will be amazing when finished.”
“Excellent facilities, breakfast food very good, there are two separate restaurants which serve different times (0700-0800)
and (0800-1000)
Evening meals very good and not too expensive compared to local restaurants in Cat Ba town
Beaches are not private as described, the public can use them, and as a warning, after 1600 they get very busy (presume everyone heads there after work)
Clientele are predominantly Asian (Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese) and very, very few westerners, so be prepared to be……
“It's a modern hotel with modern rooms and a friendly front desk staff. The negatives are that there is no chair or table or luggage rack in the rooms, and the breakfast was a very small set meal, by far the smallest breakfast among eight hotels that we've stayed in while in Vietnam.”
