"This is a beautiful beachfront resort. The view is amazing! If the ocean is rough or not your thing, the pool is also wonderful. It is a very busy place and we found the noise to be a bit much so be prepared for this. "No complaints about the hotel, except English lacking. My complaint was that I booked an extra room for my fiance's parents. When we arrived, we told the desk that unfortunately her parents were ill and couldn't make it. We asked for a refund, and was told NO. We asked if we could have the credit applied to our meals, and they said NO. So, it was not a nice goodwill gesture on their part. For this reason, I would NOT recommend the hotel."

Amazing view nice stay
"Lovely modern hotel ran by a nice family. The rooms are very spacious and have an amazing view of the bay. It's a little far from cat ba centre, 20-30min walk with a lot of incline and down cline! Not many restaurants and cafes around so you have to walk into centre for 'western' food and more options. It can also get noisy with the docks opposite and noise from neighbouring local shops. The hotel itself has potential of being 4* but some rooms are still being renovated so there was noise of drilling etc but if you're out all day it isn't a problem, it's quiet at night. TV I'm the room has Netflix so it's nice to relax in a big rooms after a long day on boat trips. Also book tours on cat ba it's cheaper then booking from Hanoi! The owner has a tour company too and offers good packages. "
