“On first glance, the property looked fine. However, it was dirty and noisy. It’s a second floor unit with another property on the third floor; we could hear people in the upstairs and next door units clear into the middle of the night, and there was tremendous noise every time someone used the stairs. The front door had a sketchy lock, and there was a 1.5” gap between the floor and the bottom of the door. None of us slept well the three nights we were there. The floor was so disgustingly dirty……

“This is one of those 5-under-the-circumstances reviews. It's a small place in a low-income neighborhood, but it's clean and functional and nicely funky in an older New Orleans kind of way, and it's just a few blocks from the corner of the French Quarter, so as a place to sleep and recuperate while enjoying time around the quarter, it's great. “Barbara are Amber are fantastic. So friendly and easy to reach. The apartment is amazing, and if you dig journalism/newspapers, the decor will blow you away. The apartment is in the old Picayune building, and there are newspapers more than 100 years old on the walls. There's even a magnifying glass in the unit so you can read the agate and fine print. The exposed brick gives the apartment a throwback vibe, but everything else -- floors, appliances, furniture -- is modern. The apartment also has……

“We loved the location and the apartment! It was close enough that you were able to walk any where you wanted just about or hop on public transport easily. The parking wasn’t an issue because there was a parking garage directly across the street they provided the information for before hand so you could get that booked! We will definitely stay here again when we come back to NOLA! ”
