Very safe and escape into the Virginia countryside I love the amenities with tennis courts golf course, walking trails, and a phenomenal fitness center with coffee and smoothie bar. The mill room has good bartenders with sports on TV and a well rounded menu It has dog friendly rooms and is family friendly and also good for business and solo travel

The stay was very average. Positives is it is a beautiful complex with trails and access to the sports complex. Negatives are that they ran out of towels for one of the days at both the pool and in our room, spider webs on the balcony railings and chairs, found items in our room that were not ours and left from prior stays, and the pool was very underwhelming (no towels, pool bar closed, and not nearly enough chairs).

Friendly staff, easy parking, great bar and solid restaurant. The fitness center is a short walk away but very large with lots to do including rock climbing. The resort is 10 -15 minutes from anywhere is Charlottesville.
