“An absolute gem… and we were lucky enough to be their very first guests! My 14-year-old son and I were backpacking through Morocco when he spotted this riad on Expedia during our bus ride to Chefchaouen. We arrived just an hour later and were greeted warmly by the kind, multilingual staff, who told us the newly renovated riad had only just opened its doors, and we were the first to walk through them. “A very nice, beautifully decorated, comfortable B&B in the heart of Chefchaouen. Helpful polite personnel, delicious breakfast and complimentary tea at night on roof terrace with awesome views. Location is very convenient close to great shopping and dining (CHEF-CHAOUEN RESTAURANT is the best!). Inexpensive parking is available near Parador Hotel or down the street (it is not possible to drive to Iguana Azul due to its location in the Medina). The only issue we had was the refrigerator. “Stayed for 2 nights with a family of 4. We loved it, mostly because of the staff. They are amazing and super helpful. The accommodation is not particularly easy to find and there is no designated parking but the staff came and got us from the main road, helped us find parking in a local garage, then carried our suitcases up the entire hill and into our room. So the lack of luxury, having private parking was a non-issue. Also when visiting chefchaouen you can't really expect parking or easy……
