Lovely hotel in a beautiful small town. Breakfast was great, staff were very friendly and helpful - sorting us out with a booking at the nearby beach club and providing timetables so we could take a boat trip to Portofino. The pool area was a perfect size and well looked after, as were we! Our family room was spacious and well laid out, and we had the use of a private terrace. So many little touches made this hotel extra special for our family holiday. We highly recommend it!

The staff were very kind, professional, and welcoming. The breakfast was of good quality, and the overall standard of the property is good. However, I found that the rooms were not well soundproofed. During the night, I could clearly hear a couple in the room above arguing, as well as the guests next door every time they used the bathroom, which made it difficult to rest. While I appreciated the quality of the service, I believe the room rate is way higher than what the property's facilities justifies.

It is a beautiful hotel with great service. They helped us find a guide to take us to mountain villages. Since it is the the old city, there are many interesting shops and restaurants. If you are tired, the hotel also has a restaurant next to the pool.

The Monte Rossa is awesome. It is well staffed with people that can't do enough for you. Rooms are clean, breakfast is great. Francesca at the front desk is fantastic. They even new we had an early flight and told us to get downstairs early and they'd provide some breakfast snacks and coffee. This is one of the best hotels we've stayed in anywhere.
