“The owners have clearly made a great effort to make sure this old building gives you a welcoming environment. The room was spacious and clean, the Wi-Fi excellent and secure and the room servicing great. The whole environment was well looked after. If you thought that was good? - I can’t speak highly enough of the staff; reception, bar, breakfast & dinner - all different people but all gave excellent service. I have no problem in returning next time we are on the Island.”

“If you use a wheelchair make sure you state this when booking. Accessible suites are only available on the 2nd floor and the lift does not go to the third floor. We were on the third so we had some steps to use and drag the chair up. An access ramp is at the side of the building but, if you cannot do stairs, you have to wheel through the outside bar patio in the front, into the back of the bar, through the restaurant and out into the lobby. “Everyone at this hotel is so nice and welcoming. Everyone always had a smile and were willing to help in any way. The hotel and gardens are breathtaking. It’s absolutely beautiful and a very different experience. The food was delicious and the drinks were spot on. They had entertainment and honestly we loved our stay. The one and only thing I would ask for is AC in the room and even then I still give them a 5 star. I would love to come back. ”

“A great place if you wana drive down the night before your cruise as its close to the terminal! Nice freindly staff, food exellent! The room was basic but clean as was the bathroom. We where in a downstairs room so we had noisy upstairs occupants so when they walked across the room you could hear the footsteps and floorboards creaking! Fire alarm went off in the early hours but that cant be helped! Not a bad stay and i would stay there again. Highly recommend the fish&chips👌”
