住宿简介

Charming and cozy log cabin in the mountains.

  • Cozy log cabin with one bedroom (queen bed) plus upstairs loft (two twin beds), full kitchen, one bathroom (stand in shower only) and a large wrap around deck with sitting area. Outside there is a fenced in area. Cabin is 750 square feet. Wifi is available.
    The cabin sits on a two acre property with great mountain views and sunsets.

    "Porcelina's Chapel" is available on the property for those who would like to say a prayer. Father Timothy from Our Lady of the Woods kindly came and blessed the chapel. Feel free to take a prayer card if available.

    The cabin is about 10 minutes from Florissant restaurants and grocery store.
    Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is about a 10 minute drive.
    Cripple Creek, Co is about a 30 minute beautiful scenic drive. There are several large casinos and restaurants as well. The Cripple Creek train ride is amazing if you have a chance I highly recommend it.

    Elevation 8,536 feet...keep this in mind for those with health issues.

    There are frequent fire bans, therefore we do NOT allow fires of any kind on our property.

Overall, this place was good for the price! My wife and I had stayed in “nicer” places in the mountains before and wanted to experience a “Great Outdoors “ type of place, which is what we got. The host seemed nice and except for the wifi lag, were easy to communicate with.

We stayed here for a week and loved it so much, it was hard to leave!! Looks even better than the pictures. Beautiful views, very quiet, calm and peaceful atmosphere. 10/10 recommend if you are looking for a place to relax and rewind in the mountains.

Easy Check in, cabin very clean, many items available in case you forget to bring something. Everything just as described and all the equipment we used worked well. The back deck was very comfortable with beautiful views and also nice and quiet. We enjoyed staying at the Cabin. Thanks

The cabin was awesome. We liked that it was remote and very quiet. The inside space was great for 2-4 people. We liked the layout. The kitchen was nice and clean. The outside property was great and we even got to see 6 deer by the small chapel structure.

This was the perfect Colorado stay! The house has the most amazing views and everything you need to enjoy being tucked up in the mountains. Host was very kind and accommodating to all of our needs. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Lovely cabin with a spectacular view and privacy. The chapel was a beautiful quiet spot for prayer and reflection. Kitchen was well equipped - we stayed over Thanksgiving. The heat was plenty warm. Can’t wait to return in warmer weather to enjoy more of the deck.

We really enjoyed this cozy, quiet cabin in the woods. Everything you need for a quiet getaway. Lots of outdoor options nearby, we enjoyed hiking Horsethief Park and Lost Creek Wilderness. Host was friendly and responsive, I highly recommend this for anyone interested in the area!

Such a beautiful and remote location. It snowed the day it our arrival which made our stay that much more magical. We loved the remoteness and quietness of this charming cabin. Morning coffee on the porch while watching the sunrise on Pike’s Peak was relaxing while also watching the deer, fox and jackrabbits forage and play. The kitchen is stocked and ready for you to enjoy meals. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us.

A perfect place for a quiet, cozy retreat in the mountains. Very convenient to lots of hiking and outdoor activities. The small chapel on the property provided a lovely place for reflection and prayer.

Cabin is on a hill with beautiful sunrise and sunset views. Be sure to bring your own soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The only thing provided was a shampoo bottle. The place is isolated, so it may be difficult to stock those things for visitors.
