“Great stay!”

“We had very good experience, host was really nice and helpful, tiny house was very clean, short distance from WCU”

“Had the whole family over of 12, we all had an excellent time.”

“Great house, was easily able to accommodate our 9 guests. Host was very responsive and communicative. House is an easy commute to WCU or downtown Sylva. Will look to book again in the future.”

“This property is PERFECT, especially if you are visiting someone at Western. It’s an easy 8 minute drive to WCU, and less than 20 minutes to Sylva (where all the good food is!). The check in process is super easy (door code to the cabin) and check out was take out the trash, put the linens and towels in a basket and put the dishes in the sink. We have had to extensively clean VRBO/AirBBs before. This was a breeze! :)The price we paid was substantially less than what parents were paying in town……

“The cabin does smell musty, which is worse in the kitchen and cabinets. I mention for anyone with mold allergies. This is probably expected since it's a rain forest. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen has great counter space for cooking and prep. We will definitely stay here again.”

“I concur with all of the positive reviews which are accurate in their descriptions. The bed is a great couple’s bed, super comfy. We loved having the whole of the large bottom deck to ourselves for breakfast in the morning, and glasses of wine at night. As of June, 2026, both cell service and WiFi aren’t great, so I recommend downloading everything (playlists, maps, movies) ahead of time. As most everyone has correctly mentioned, Debi is a fantastic and thoughtful host. We’ll be coming back……

“Lovely cabin with a very comfortable bed. A little tricky to find at first. WiFi was great. No cell service. Clean and neat with a warm and homey feel. Good communication. I would recommend this properly. ”

“Beautiful and peaceful location with a long range mountain view. The tiny home was as well equipped as any vacation rental we've ever stayed at. Host was super responsive and helpful. Great location close to the beach at the lake and convenient to Cashiers. We can't wait to return.”

“This cabin was perfect for our girls weekend getaway. Host provided excellent directions (better than the GPS). Would highly recommend Pops Peak to others. Also, very close to the dock for Lake Glenville Waterfall tours ( 5 minutes), which is an excellent excursion to take.”

“Great home and location!”

“Great Lake vacation at this beautiful fully equipped home.”

“Great hotel.”

“Everything was great- I will be back again.”

“LOVED the Staff..Susan was the best-she upgraded our room due to us being first time visitors! THANKS SUSAN! The river view was wonderful. The Balcony to our room was exceptional-clean. Although we were satisfied with our room; the bathroom could have had better lighting or bulbs-but that was OK because I had the balcony the natural light! Bathrooms were very clean. The beds were nice, a bit too soft. The carpet a bit musty upon entering room. The hot breakfast was nice to have a upon awakening……

“We had a clean and comfortable stay. Grounds and hotel were nicely kept. We would stay again.”

“The room was very clean and cozy. The location is close to restaurants and major attractions. I loved the rocking chairs on the entrance porch.”
