“The only two downsides were a lack of WiFi and cell service (only available in the main house) and no GPS. They do send you very detailed directions, but if you are wholly unfamiliar with the area, it can be a little unsettling to be on winding roads outside of civilization with no cell service. I admittedly panicked (we drove for 12 straight hours overnight), and our friend was on the verge of declaring us missing because he couldn't get in touch with us. “Beautiful original log home. Deck built out on Cheat River for gorgeous views and wildlife. Wonderful fire pit area. Definite location! The home is well equipped with many hospitalities. Awesome hot tub all of property direct views of the river. Fishing was fabulous too!”

“We arrived at night to the cabin, trust the google map directions as clicked from the website. The key was in the lockbox as instructed and we were able to settle in nicely. When we woke up we were surprised to find an enormous green pasture behind the cabin with the river just behind the pasture. It was so beautiful! We enjoyed playing in the river, fishing, and chasing our dog. Mealtime in the screened-in porch was lovely. This week was a wonderful spring break getaway for our family in mid-……

“My husband and I stayed with our two dogs. We enjoyed walking the property and even the water out back. The drive to the cabin was very curvy and we were pretty far off from town. We even saw 2 baby black bear cubs! The cabin came equipped with everything we needed.”

Loved that the dogs had plenty of room to run. Hot tub was nice after busy days. The trails on the property were great! The location was perfect- far enough away to feel secluded, yet 5 mins or less to anything you need. Looking forward to staying again!!”
