Tifton

“The cabin is lovely and peaceful. Our host was excellent with communication and even left a jar of homemade jelly as a welcoming gift. The view and atmosphere are perfect for someone who needs to relax. We would love to have been able to stay longer. If you or your children have an aversion to hunting, stay somewhere else bc the beautiful pine cabin is filled with mounted animals. The bed faces a wall of windows overlooking the lake. This adds to the relaxing feel of the property. Hearing goats……

“My friends and I went on a trip to Florida for our graduation and decided on driving the distance. We stopped at this Vrbo over the night, arrived around 9:00 at night and left early in the morning the next day. I’d say the home was really nice, fairly clean, and in a very accessible placement with a gas station and shops a walkable distance away. However, a few days after we left the owner contacted me accusing me that I had stollen power tools out from the bed of his truck. Mind you I’m an 18……

“Big dirty house with holes between doors and floor to the outside. Carpets dirty, sheets and pillow covers covered in detergent not completely rinsed. Mice droppings on the floor, hot water doesn’t work in one bathroom. Lights don’t work in one bedroom. Exterior doors don’t have actual door lock. Mice running around in the ceiling. Driveway is covered with grass and not easy to spot in the evening.”

13. Charming 1-bedroom apartment Tranquil Pondside- 5mins from downtown

Albany

“The property looked nice, the bathroom was nice, and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. The room was cold, and I couldn’t find an extra blanket, so I didn’t sleep well the first night. The cigarette smoke smell was also extremely strong. I understand smoking is permitted in the listing, however, as a nonsmoker, it was overwhelming. I ended up buying candles and incense and leaving the door open to try and air it out, so this room is not ideal for……
