“We love this property, Waffa the proprietor was so sweet and helpful. She helped us make reservations and the breakfast each morning was the best we’ve ever had. Don’t miss out on staying at this property if you are in the area. Also, they served us wine and appetizers in their outdoor bar near the heated pool! Quaint and delicious.”

“We are a family of 5 with adult children with partners and we stayed for over a week in late June. The property is charming, full of character and comfortably accommodated our group of 8 adults. It has plenty of outside areas to relax, by the frog pond, opposite the pool and on the top terrace with fantastic views across the countryside. We stayed during a very hot June and the house stayed comfortably cool and the pool was very welcome. There’s also a free local tennis court behind the property……

“The property is a medieval castle and guest house set in peaceful and picturesque area. The property is obviously old and large and does require considerable upkeep and maintenance, and there were a couple of issues during our stay that were disappointing.The freezer in the main house did not work. When I reported this to the owner / management company I was informed they were aware of this fact but could not do anything about it during our stay. It was not communicated by the representatives……

“This place was a wonder spot to explore the area. Our hosts were very welcoming. The Chateau is extremely well decorated and restored. The rooms are large and have every luxury. There is a wonderful dog at the property that is very friendly. For those that have an expensive car that they do not want scratched by a happy dog jumping up, best to park before the property and walk in. Let the owners know you have arrived and they will make sure that Skye is in the house until you park.”
