“Beautiful original features that were unique. The area is beautiful, but the town has a lot of abandoned buildings, and limited dining experiences. It looks like they are trying to revive the town with a beautiful mural and it is worth reviving! It is a beautiful location with a lot of history and a great vibe. Just unfortunate loss of businesses probably over the last 5 years. ”

“We were moving up from San Diego to Portland and decided to break up the drive over a series of days to minimize the stress on ourselves and our cat. The Cedar Lake Lodge was a great spot to rest for the night. We arrived around 5pm and quickly checked in. I fell in love with the serenity of my surroundings and the overall ambience reminded me of the hotels/motels of my childhood. The fact that they still have actual keys for their doors instead of key cards was enough to get me excited. The……

“Absolutely perfect. bed was very comfortable with nice sheets; loved kitchen - French press/ coffee and coffee grinder was so neat and delicious. Wallpaper with squirrels was so cute. I have been wanting to stay in Dunsmuir- I worked at clinic there for 3 years but you are so busy there’s never any time to check out Dunsmuir. My husband and I finally got to check out Dunsmuir brewery and just walk around Dunsmuir, and visit bee kind bakery! Everything there and at the brewery was so delicious……

“Our stay here in Dunsmuir was exactly what I had hoped it would be. The little house is great, clean and comfortable with a good energy-feel. We were apprehensive at first about the waterbed (we're in our fifties) - it was firm and comfortable as one should be. Walking distance to eats and arts. Right at the foot of Shasta... who could ask for more. Dena was great, friendly and welcoming. Thank you, great stay. We'll stay here again when we're back to Shasta!”

“We rented this house to stay for our wedding and its beautiful. Modern, clean, a nice backyard with a hottub, fire pit and open space. Well stocked. Good location to be close to Shasta. The side room with the futon was a great bonus. Was a great stay! ”
