I love the area, the people I saw were nice, the building is a bit run down but still functional. Walls are very thin and you can hear everything from outside and other rooms. Loved the microwave and mini fridge. I would stay again.

Last year we wanted to go to the Redwoods, I hadn't been since I was a child and my now fiance (boyfriend at the time) had never been. We planned a trip and headed up North. It was obvious when we made it to Redwood territory because the trees got taller and taller and wider and wider. But we kept driving trying to find Redwood National Park. We tried mapping it in our GPS and wondered why we couldn't get directions to the park entrance. We finally stumbled upon a state park ranger station and decided to ask them. Turns out Redwood National and State Parks is an "area" or "region", it's not a specific place or address. We WERE in the park - there is no National Park entrance. Who knew? We explored for hours with fog rolling in and out of the trees and sunbeams darting through branches. It was magical! This is one of those places that overwhelms me and floods me with emotion! I could have spent weeks here but we only had a few days. It was such an incredible experience!
