“My husband and I absolutely loved our stay here! The resort is absolutely beautiful and our room and views were stunning! We saw so many animals just sitting on our balcony. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The food was great at both of their restaurants. It’s a very short driving distance from Manuel Antonio National Park and they offer shuttle service to and from the park and the beach. We will definitely be back!”

“The resort was beautiful, quiet and clean, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. You will see monkeys and sloths. The staff will point them out to you as well. Most of the community does speak English and do take dollars without difficulty. The restaurants on the resort are pricey, we tried Agua Azul close by and it was delicious and reasonable, Emil’s Cafe was also great but also a little more pricey. Taking a taxi to the local restaurants in Manuel Antonio is about $10 each……

“The property is gorgeous! We had the standard deluxe room and it was great. No one above us and only one other room beside us, so quiet and serene. Monkeys ate from the mango tree every day on our balcony. Most importantly the bed is very comfortable and it has great pillows! Very private rooms situated throughout the property. The free breakfast had great choices and great food throughout the day. The only recommendation I have for the hotel is to replace the plastic glasses used in the……

“I would have given them a 5 star but the thing that really irked me is that initially when I asked about using their laundry, they told me that people used the bathroom sink (it is very large) and then used those hanger wires in the shower to dry. So, I did that but when I went to pull out the wires they both were broken, so I had a bunch of wet laundry ! I went back to the front desk and was told they would do my laundry for $7 per kilo (2.2lbs). I said that would be great except that my WET……

“Everything about this hotel is phenomenal. Starts at booking, check in, the staff is Excellent, attentive, friendly. Will is the best , in the restaurant area. He is kind, funny , professional, and an all around asset to the hotel. All of the restaurant staff was amazingly kind The reception guys were very helpful with information, getting our bags to and from the car, and everyone was in charge of keeping the kittys safe from the monkeys . “Wonderful family operation, friendly, helpful staff, amazing view with lots of wildlife surrounding the hotel. From our door we spotted toucans, macaws, agouti, three types of monkeys, to mention a few. The owner is warm and welcoming. There is a delightful pool overlooking the jungle and ocean. We can’t imagine a lovelier place to stay. It is also very convenient to stores, a very natural beach, and restaurants. There is also a great highly rated Korean style restaurant on premises.”

“Close to Manuel Antonio. Many good restaurants in walking distance. Helpful staff. We had a flat on our rental car and they assisted us in getting it fixed.”

“Positives: It was very cute. Beautiful beach and delicious food locally. The staff was nice. We appreciated having dishes and cutlery! We loved the Baguette. Great wait staff and view. Negatives: Parking was rough. Not many spaces and backing in/out was borderline dangerous. Day two we had some little spider ant looking things. Not sure if that is common or not?”

“Las Cascadas has amazing virws of the mountains behind it. We saw birds and monkeys and even deer during our stay. The marina is very conveniently located just down the hill. This hotel is on a mountain, so there are a lot of hills and stairs. If you don't mind a hike, this hotel is definitely for you. All the staff were friendly and willing to help however they could. If you have not rented a vehicle, i suggest contacting them to arrange transportation from the airport in Quepos ”
