“Very clean and so peaceful. The owner takes pride in the property. It’s very well maintained and the rooms are very modern. While I was here, there was a storm and we lost power. The owner was on top of everything, making sure his guests were well informed about when the power would be restored. You can’t beat the views. It’s surrounded by pastures but is close to shopping and of course the Virginia Creeper Trail head in Abingdon. I will definitely stay here again!”

“Definitely not what not well maintained Towel definitely was clean was there stuff on it and shower when turn on was leaking water through the wall to the FL I just left and book different hotel didn’t feel comfortable and safe there ”

“Wheeler's Inn was a great place to stay! It's perfect for hikers, having free water, snacks, coffee or tea, a cozy sitting area and a front porch with rockers. Guests have their own bedroom and a shared bathroom. Great beds and plenty of towels and toiletries available. I'll definitely be staying here again when I'm section hiking in the area.”

“If you’re looking for privacy, this isn’t the place to book an escape… Host is very friendly, but also lingers outside close to the rental after dark and at random times which was very uncomfortable for us as we felt like our space was invaded. She also waited for us in the driveway to greet us and conversate, we prefer no contact with hosts, maybe that’s just us though. If we wanted all that we’d have stayed at a bed and breakfast.THERE IS A TRAIN VERY CLOSE TO THE PROPERTY THAT RUNS OFTEN AN……
