Great location but lacking current pictures

This property has a prime location and potential to be amazing. Smelled great and was very clean. We were disappointed that current pictures with the beach theme decor and furniture did not match the current hodge podge of random decor or furniture currently in the rental. Also expected an actual beach front balcony but this rental only has a very small side deck facing the neighboring home with minimal gulf views down the public access strip. Overall, the location and cleanliness makes this place worth it but would have appreciated for the home to be properly represented with current pictures and a more detailed description of the outside area.

The property was not properly cleaned and you could see traces of dirt and old stains on the fridge and in the bathroom. The property smelled of humidity the entire time and when we arrived the sliding door on the balcony didn’t lock we had to contact the owner and the next day he sent someone to fix it which he did successfully in the afternoon. Finally the next day it started raining and water started coming inside the house on the living room at a point that we had to put a bucket of water so it didn’t go to the closets near by. Luckily it didn’t rain longer and we could enjoy our last day there. The owner was very responsive all the times we reached out but the house really needs a bit more of care and cleaning. The only reason I give the property 3 starts is because of the very good location it has and the responsiveness of the owners.

Another awesome week!

This is our second stay at this house and 3rd on Manasota Key in a year. If you are looking for a quiet vacation and perfect spot near Stump Pass I highly recommend this house. On top of that I must say how awesome the host is. My AC went out unfortunately on my first day (Saturday) and was out for 24hrs. The host had someone there on Sunday the day before Memorial Day and it was fixed as fast as possible. Between great communication from the host and the beautiful location this is definitely my favorite spot. Thanks Andrew!

Quick anniversary getaway

We booked last minute for a beach getaway on our anniversary. The unit is a little dated but very clean and well kept. It is right on the beach but the unit faces the street. There is a small porch on the side with a beach view. The location is great and only a short walk to Stump Pass Beach State Park. Overall we had a great stay here.

Spring Break 2024

We chose this house as it was right on the beach and we wanted a convenient stay for one night before we moved locations to stay with family. The location was amazing! Moving around the area was very easy. We enjoyed shark tooth hunting, the sunset views, the color of the water, and walking to Stump Pass Beach for a nice walk with the family. My only piece of feedback would be the hide-a-way bed. When we rolled it out it seemed damp. We laid a few blankets for the kids to sleep on. Otherwise, we highly recommend and plan to be back in the area again.

The Beach is Great

The beach is great, easy access which is the big draw. The house is a bit tired and furnishings rather Spartan. f Furnishing is the living room consisted of two kitchen table chairs, a couch that is well past it prime and a bean bag(yuck). Hardware for the locks to the screened in porch were non functional and hardware lose and falling off. Screened in porch had a nice view of ocean-sunsets were spectacular, Screens on porch had multiple tears and a wasp nest in the opening were the screen porch pulls away from the soffit. Living room still has visible drywall patch scars on wall and ceiling. A menagerie of glass ware and dishes kept in draws that hadn't been cleaned in awhile. If you come for the beach you wont be disappointed. If the owner is interested I have video and picture of what I shared.

Englewood Beach

We enjoyed the property. It was the perfect size for the two of us. We were able to walk to local restaurants where we met friends. While the space was clean, it could have used some maintenance such as new shower curtain and rod, repairing the latch on the lanai screen door and repairing the lanai screens. Overall, we were satisfied.

Water leak onto sofa so sofa wet and could only sit on one side. Living room sparsely furnished with sofa (only 1/2 usable) and 2 kitchen table chairs in entire room so uncomfortable to watch TV or sit and read or relax. Small patio provided limited side ocean view and high top table did not allow room for regular chairs to sit and read or enjoy looking at the ocean.

Peaceful.

I enjoyed my stay here. Place was just as advertised. Great views and comfort is always a requirement for me on vacation. The bed could have been a bit better. But, it wasn't that bad. Enjoyed seeing Dolphins play in the gulf. As well as seeing a Stingray breach the surface. So cool to see. If you are in to shelling and shark tooth hunting. This is definitely the place! Manisota Key was definitely a Beautiful place for my sons wedding. Will definitely stay at this unit again. Although I will get the one that directly overlooks the gulf. Great neighborhood and plenty of activities for your family to enjoy. The host was on top of all communications. I highly recommend staying here.

Outstanding property and excellent host

Great host that went well beyond my expectations to provide for a wonderful stay. The condo location was perfect, directly on beach. Extremely clean interior and exterior. Very spacious, modern. Everything looked like new. Well equipped. Can't think of anything that was overlooked.

Great Place

This place was a perfect fit for my wife and I as well as our 7 and 12 year old boys. From fishing to shark tooth hunting and just enjoying the sunset...it was awesome! Very clean with all we needed for a quick weekend getaway.
