“The location is good— near to Cetara and Maiori and restaurants and shopping (food). Views: ocean-great; beach-OK (150 M away). Host: Elvira was helpful, check in easy. Problems: hot water/ not enough for 6 people to have even very short showers —2 are tiny showers (4.5sq ft)—so water on bathed floor made for slippery footing; beds “firm” (1 lumpy); kitchen- minimal when cooking dinner for 6; had to use outdoor table & borrow chairs from blue apt to have seating for 6. “This property did not disappoint. The location and the views of the sea was second to none. Elvira spoiled us. She was available 24.7 for us. She booked taxi when needed answered all any questions when we needed guidance. She was the best vacation host anyone could have ever wished for. Thank you for making our stay in your beautiful home a 5 star stay. Thank you for making our Amalfi stay so memorable. Chow and Thank you.”

“I think overall this is a great stay, it’s close enough to the city to be walkable but far enough that it feels removed from the very touristy area. The Residence Due Torro would definitely benefit from being small upgrades to specially the bathroom, linens, and ensuring there’s not ants. Be mindful that is it an older building but Italy itself is old, which personally enjoyed and it adds to the authenticity of the trip!”

“Very nice stay with feel-like home service. The breakfast is really good with an amazing view at the terrance. Very clean and cozy, look exactly the same as the photos & description”
