“Unfortunately, the pool was under construction during our stay and unusable, but we didn't allow that to stop us. The beach was quite and relaxing, thus Westin has a family vibe and good for children. The staff was friendly. I do think they can do better at advertising the water and children's activities. “Our stay for 8 nights at this property had some ups and downs. We were without power for 3 days, but did get refunded for 2 nights. It was difficult at times to communicate with the host. Having no AC, no power, and no ho hot water for 3 days was challenging. On the other hand, this property is very clean, and convenient in a great location. Red Hook is very close by. The beaches nearby were beautiful. Although the power was out, we really enjoyed our stay.”
