“Our family of 5 had a delightful stay at Lameshur Cottage and Campsites. We stayed in the 2 turtle containers. We found them to be comfortable and especially enjoyed wrapping up our by night sitting on the porch, recounting the adventures from our day on St. John. Our 12 year old especially enjoyed the frisbee golf and feeding the bananaquits. There are also some friendly cats that kept us company whenever we visited the restroom. I did take off 1 star for cleanliness, but only because the room……

“The St.John Inn was exactly what we had hoped to find - island vibes within walking distance of Cruz Bay! The Caribbean-themed property is well maintained with a nice dipping pool and surrounding patio for relaxing in the cool breeze after a long day of exploration. What really made our stay a hit were the hosts - David and Angie are genuinely good people who strive to make your stay the best ever. Their collective island expertise was key to helping us plan our days ultimately saving us lots of……

“This looked great from the outside and the view was magnificent. Unfortunately the stove was an old Coleman burner you had to light yourself, the toilet had a difficult time working, I had to open the back and manually pull the flapper up when I got there. The A/C was only in the bedroom. The bedroom was an open fishbowl with a great view and no curtains or any type of windows shade so I'm sure the view from outside looking in was entertaining. “This condo has everything you could need or ask for. It was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. It was walking distance to a lot of shopping and restaurants. The owner was very responsive and checked on us often to make sure we were enjoying our stay.”

“This was our 6th trip to the islands and we were looking forward to being in a villa that was walkable to Cruz Bay. We are athletic and the hill was a great workout, and we enjoyed that part of walking but not everyone could navigate this. The location is walkable distance wise, but it is on a very busy road without a sidewalk or space to walk that is not on the road. I would say it is a bit dangerous villa to walk and be very cautious if walking. The Market nearby was great and we were thankful……

“WOULD RETURN! The cottage is clean, accommodating, has access to outdoors with a great view, and is private. The bedrooms are nicely sized and AC keeps the entire place cool. Nice size TV for downtime too. EVERYTHING is a short walk - groceries, coffee, food/drink, beach, hiking trails, ferries/taxis. SEPARATE FROM LOCATION NOTE: The walk to and from cottage to everything is a hill. There are not sidewalks for part of trip. We managed fine with our 2 kids, but can be tricky during busy traffic……

You are as close as you possibly could be to Cruz Bay-Restaurants, Bars, Live music, Grocery Store and Coffee Shop!You have your own entrance to your cottage which was nice, extra beach towels in the laundry room, and beach chairs and snorkel gear were also provided! Note: There is roaster that lives here and can be pretty loud in the mornings. The hill back up from the restaurant/bar area is not for the weak. Highly recommend! ”
